1. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide while using the PasCV platform, including:

•Account Credentials: Your full name, email address, and authentication identifiers provided when signing in via Google Authentication.
•Career Documents: Resume or curriculum vitae files in PDF or Microsoft Word (.docx) formats uploaded for ATS readability scoring and evaluation.
•Activity & Pipeline Data: Target job roles and status records saved in the Application Tracker, tailored resume preferences, and simulation session history.

2. Data Processing by Third-Party AI Providers (Google Gemini)

To generate automated ATS readability scores, structured feedback, and actionable resume optimization suggestions, extracted text from your resume is securely transmitted to Google Gemini (Google AI) over encrypted channels (TLS/HTTPS).

Processing is handled strictly through Google's commercial API interface. Under Google Cloud & API data privacy terms, customer inputs from PasCV are not used to train, retrain, or improve public foundation models.

Data transmitted is processed transiently solely for the computational purpose of delivering your requested evaluation report.

3. Data Retention Policy (Zero Raw File Retention)

Zero Raw File Retention Principle

Original resume files uploaded to our servers are temporarily processed only for text parsing and evaluation, then immediately and permanently purged from server disks.

•Original uploaded resume files (PDF/DOCX) are stored temporarily only during the automated text extraction and AI scoring phase, and are permanently purged from server storage immediately upon analysis completion.
•We do not maintain permanent copies or long-term backups of your original binary resume files on our servers.
•Only extracted evaluation metrics, application tracking notes, and your user account profile are securely retained in encrypted databases so you can review your history at your convenience.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal data or resume details to third-party brokers, advertisers, or recruitment agencies.

Restricted technical access is granted exclusively to trusted enterprise cloud infrastructure providers (such as Google Cloud Platform for compute and authentication) bound by stringent confidentiality and security obligations.

5. User Rights (UU PDP & GDPR Compliance)

Under applicable privacy laws, you possess comprehensive rights over your personal data:

•Right of Access: Inspect and review all profile information and analysis summaries associated with your account.
•Right to Rectification: Correct or update any inaccurate or outdated profile details.
•Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): Request the permanent deletion of your account, job tracking records, and evaluation logs at any time via Account Settings or by emailing us.
•Right to Withdraw Consent: Revoke data processing consent at any time without retroactive penalty.

6. Cookies, Security, and Age Restrictions

We employ strictly essential first-party session cookies to maintain your login session and UI preferences. We do not use third-party cross-site tracking cookies.

All data in transit between your browser and PasCV servers is protected using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS encryption.

The PasCV service is designed for users aged 13 and older (or the digital age of consent in your jurisdiction). PasCV does not knowingly collect information from children under this threshold.
